My research approaches technological change as a sociological question: how do new tools reshape academic life, and who gets to shape that change?

Current PhD research

I explore generative AI in higher education through student agency, institutional governance, epistemology, and the social dimensions of technology. My focus is on the relationships between people, knowledge, institutions, and technologies.
